Wanted: Research fellow in Public Administration, Public Policy, Management or related
Università Commerciale “Luigi Bocconi” of Milan seeks for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to join their team working on «Co-VAL: Understanding Value Co-Creation in Public Services for Transforming European Public Administrations», an EU H2020 project. The contract’s duration is set to 24 months and the ideal candidate will have a solid background and strong interest in co-production, innovation, digital transformation and research methods for public administration.
Role profile:
Co-VAL is a collaboration between thirteen research and engagement teams working in eleven countries across Europe. Tasks include work on a comparative public management research study, including a systematic literature review, expert interviews, policy and process tracing, design and conduct studies, perform data analysis and dissemination.
The Research Fellow will be expected to be able to take the initiative in facilitating and sustaining research relationships with these teams as part of the Co-VAL programme and to work on drawing out, under the supervision of Prof Greta Nasi, the theoretical, policy and practice implications of the overall research programme. Co-VAL will lead both to research and to impact and engagement outputs and is an outstanding opportunity for an Early Career Researcher to develop their research profile and career prospects.
Requirements:
- Master degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Management or related;
- Experience within public administration research;
- Successful pipeline and/or track record of scientific publications;
- Team-work orientation and problem solving attitude;
- Experience with econometric software packages (i.e. Stata);
- Fluency in English
